Welcome to Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC ("CLA, "I,” “My”). By accessing or using CLA’s website, www.securitydepositlawyerfl.com (the "Site"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is intended to provide general information about Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC, our services, and relevant Florida tenant law regarding security deposits. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the functionality of the Site.

The content on this Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Viewing, reading, or otherwise using the information on this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal advice specific to your situation, please contact an attorney licensed to practice law in your jurisdiction.

3. Attorney-Client Relationship

An attorney-client relationship with Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC is not formed by the use of this Site. If you wish to become a client, you must first enter into a formal attorney-client agreement with CLA. Please contact CLA directly to schedule a consultation.

4. Forwarding Information

While we may provide general contact information for inquiries or case consultations, any information you submit through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please avoid sending any confidential or sensitive information through the Site’s contact forms unless CLA has specifically agreed to represent you.

5. User Content

You are responsible for any content or materials you submit, post, or transmit to the Site. You agree not to submit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. CLA reserves the right to remove or modify any content at CLA’s sole discretion.

6. Legal and Ethical Requirements

CLA has tried to comply with all legal and ethical requirements in compiling the Site. We welcome comments about our compliance with the applicable rules and will update the Site as warranted, upon learning of any new or different requirements. To the extent that the professional responsibility rules of the Florida Bar requires CLA to designate a principal office and/or an attorney responsible for the Site, Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC designates its office in Miami, Florida, 1000 Brickell Ave, Suite 715, and attorney Matthew Peterson.

7. Advertising Disclosures

Some materials on the Platform may constitute lawyer advertising. The choice of a lawyer is an important decision, and it should never be based solely upon an advertisement. Before making your choice of any attorney, you should give this matter careful thought. The selection of an attorney is an important decision. Cases will be handled by attorney Matthew Peterson, who is licensed in Florida and Illinois. Before you decide, you may ask us to send you free written information about CLA’s qualifications and experience. FREE BACKGROUND INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. No representation is made that Matthew Peterson is a certified specialists or experts in any field of law. And no representation is made that the legal services to be performed are greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers. Anyone considering a lawyer should independently investigate the lawyer’s credentials and ability, and not rely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise. No representation is made here about your specific rights. Every case is different and must be judged on its own merits. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Contingent attorney fees are negotiable and not set by law. Cases may be handled in association with, or referred to, other law firms as co-counsel or referral counsel.

CLA may from time to time make calls and/or send text messages to you at any telephone number associated with your account. The manner in which these calls or text (SMS) messages are made to you may include, but is not limited to, the use of prerecorded/artificial voice messages and/or an automatic telephone dialing system. You certify, warrant, and represent that the telephone numbers you have provided to CLA are your contact numbers. You represent that you are permitted to receive calls at each of the telephone numbers you have provided to CLA. You agree that CLA may send emails to you at any email address you provide CLA, or use other electronic means of communication to the extent permitted by law

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of CLA] or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use any content from the Site without obtaining prior written permission from CLA.

10. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience and do not imply endorsement by Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC of the linked websites. CLA has no control over and is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Site, including any errors or omissions in the content, loss of data, or any other consequences of using the Site. CLA do not guarantee that the Site will be free from viruses or other harmful components.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Consumer Law Advocate, PLLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Your use of the Site is also governed by CLA’s Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

14. Modifications

CLA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without notice. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Duval County, Florida.



16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
